Following a successful career working as a product developer in the natural beauty and wellbeing industry in London and inspired by her knowledge of working with essential oils, extracts, herbs and spices Shelly decided to pursue her dream of becoming a fine chocolatier. She initially took private, intensive courses in chocolate making and subsequently qualified with distinction as a pastry chef. She relocated to her home county of Nottinghamshire and immersed herself in the technicalities and nuances of working with chocolate, honed her...

...signature aroma-flavouring techniques under the guidance of her mentor (a world authority in essential oils) in her purpose built chocolate lab and sought out the very best food-grade versions of the ingredients and oils which have always inspired her until she was finally ready to launch her own chocolate collection. The result is Boutique Aromatique; a true labour of love and a very personal collection of fine and fragrant handmade chocolates, patisserie and confectionery.
